Unu Health wins global award

Unu Health, a company providing a digital platform and an easy-to-use healthcare app,has been named “Health Consumer Advocacy Innovator of the Year 2025” by Global Health and Pharma (GHP). – TimesLive (28 October 2025)
The Unu app provides patients with virtual consultations, health screenings and electronic sick notes. Unu Health also launched SA’s first AI-powered diabetes chatbot, enabling access to timely medical care for millions.
“This tool, combined with the company's expansion of digital pathology access, directly addresses the barriers that prevent millions from receiving timely medical care.”
According to Unu Health founder and CEO Tania Joffe Uhu’s mission is to make quality healthcare available to everyone, everywhere.

3.	Access to Customer Information
	HEALTHMAN shall ensure that:
	3.1	access to, or disclosure of customer information will not be authorized without the documented commitment of the intended recipient so as to maintain confidentiality and the rightful use of such information;
	3.2	access to customer information by HEALTHMAN personnel, contract workers, consultants, service providers or suppliers will be restricted to the level of access needed to effectively perform delegated or contracted duties and/or the level of service needed to render a reliable and effective service to HEALTHMAN customers.
