Motsoaledi reappointed as Health Minister –

Dr Aaron Motsoaledi was reappointed as new Minister of Health in the Government of National Unity, with Joe Phaahla, as his deputy. Motsoaledi’s first became Minister of Health in May 2009.
During Motsoaledi’s previous term, he was also known for being energetic, passionate, and outspoken, making him an excellent figurehead for establishing the world’s most extensive antiretroviral treatment programme.
However, some suggest that his department’s actions may have contributed to the healthcare system’s failures.
